Final Freeway

I have to say that the Davide Pasca-developed app Final Freeway won me over by taking me back to the days of my childhood when I would play racing games on my now defunct computer. You see, Final Freeway is a retro racing game with old school graphics that I found to be quite a treat.

The game also won me over because it is a very entertaining racing game. Get Final Freeway and you will get to race around 8 levels and while you’re racing you will get to listen to several original soundtracks. If for some reason you don’t like the game’s soundtrack (I didn’t find anything wrong with it) you can play your own music in the background. Personally, I thought the soundtrack went very well with the retro graphics.

There are two ways to control your car when playing Final Freeway. You can go with a more traditional approach and used touch-based steering. Or you can go with the accelerometer-based controls. The choice is yours.

If you would like to get Final Freeway, you can purchase it from the App Store for the low price of $0.99. If you don’t feel like spending money, you can get the free Lite version instead (it comes with only 2 levels). If you’re not on iOS, if you’re on Android instead, you can get Final Freeway for Android from the Android Market here.

For a very fun retro racing experience I wholeheartedly recommend Final Freeway. You can enjoy the game on your iOS-powered device and on your Android-powered device.
